Students at Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School and Croton-Harmon High School recently participated in creative activities that discouraged teenage drinking and alcohol abuse.
At PVC, the Teen Leadership Council sponsored a “Toilet Toss” game for sixth- through eighth-graders during their lunch periods that emphasized the theme of “Don’t Toss Your Life Down the Drain!”
The high school Teen Leadership Council held a “Candy Pong” game during lunch periods for all students, grades nine through 12. They also distributed fact sheets about alcohol poisoning and safety tips, especially applicable with spring break, prom season and summertime on the horizon.
