First- and second-grade students at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School recently had the opportunity to work with regional radio station WHUD (100.7 FM) to record the Pledge of Allegiance for use during the 7:30 a.m. daily recitation with DJs Mike and Kacey.
The first-grade classes’ recitation of the Pledge was aired on Monday, Nov. 23 and can be heard on the WHUD website here.
