Croton-Harmon High School winter track and field athlete Armand Pappas has had a record-breaking season.
He set new school records in the long jump, triple jump and 55-meter dash and was named both an All-League athlete and All-Section in long jump and triple jump. In addition, Pappas was named to the First Team All Westchester County in the long and triple jump competitions. He is the county champion in both areas, as well.
During the season and postseason, Pappas earned fifth place in the New Balance Nationals Emerging Elite Long Jump competition and sixth place in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Indoor Track State Championship triple jump competition. He also earned an overall eighth-place finish at states.
